Yup folks we're playing unplugged on the 19th March at the Regal Room in London which is a stunning acoustic venue - great atmosphere and sound. This is also going to be broadcast live from their website - link to follow - so come down cost best of all it's FREE. Then on the 27th we play at an aftershow party for the Future Fest gig at the 02 Academy at BOX in Glasgow - again FREE! So again get down there and have a great night in one of Glasgow's best small venues! Ok it's a scandal - the BBC is a public service and needs to get a grip...so SAVE BBC 6 MUSIC cos it's one of the few stations that plays music outside all the commercial bollocks thats aired nowadays. Im so fuckin fed up. Music is like fast food now... nobody gives a fuck how food tastes, or smells or what ingredients are in it or how much love and care was given to making it and preparing it. Hello! Well what a good week it's been - a great article from Billy Sloan in The Scottish Sunday Mail, more plays on his show and our first Absolute Radio play plus an article in ZapBang magazine we also got a great review in music news.com - it's all hotting up for the release of Flying To The Ground on Feb 22nd. Remember to check here for details on where to buy the single. We're just off the back of some really nice gigs and it was good to play the unplugged shows! We decided to stay in Glasgow for a few more days and did another couple of gigs. First we did the Liquid Ship (Great Western Road, Glasgow) again which as we keep saying is a superb acoustic venue and then on the 10th we did PivoPivo (Waterloo Street, Glasgow) which must be one of Glasgow's best unknown venues - seriously great place, great sound and a brilliant people. Highly recommended! Thanks to all who came to see us - I think thats the most dates in row we have ever done in Glasgow! Talk about kicking the arse out it haha Talking of gigs we have a new "Gig At Ours" feature on our home page... go on invite us to play at yours and we will check out the homepage for details! Finally I'm back writing away and will be heading back to London soon for some gigs - so if anybody fancies a beer in the next few days gimme a shout before I head home! Great night last night again - thanks to Andy who organises the set up here - great we night and great wee venue you have. This was a really chilled friendly place and we had a really good gig. The last 10 days or so have been great! Tom and I played about six acoustic gigs, had a few good nights out and I’ve had at least three bad hangovers (not so good). We played a session for The Daily Record to put on their website which was fun and done a quick interview with John Dingwall. Tom also had an interview with Billy Sloan to talk about ‘Flying to The Ground’ for the Sunday Mail. And to top it all off we’ve had another brilliant review.
The gigs were all in Glasgow, starting with Glasgow Uni and finishing last night in the Common Rooms on Byres Road. A big thanks to everyone who came to the gigs all of which were great fun to play but if I had to pick a favourite it would be the one in the Liquid Ship on Thursday. It’s a cosy little venue on Great Western Road with a really nice vibe. Bands play downstairs which is a bit like a living room with a bar, has a fire in the corner and is lit by candles. It’s friendly and perfect for a very up close and personal acoustic gig. We also played a drunken spur of the moment gig in Box which is always fun.
I’m off to get ready to go to the studio now. I’m already running late, meant to be there in half an hour!

We got a new favourite venue for unplugged's - Liquid Ship is great... It's like playing in a livingroom with a bar - and the crowd were perfect.
